「ツーリストシップって何？」クイズで楽しく学ぶサステナブルツーリズム
9月25日～28日の4日間、事業者および一般来場者向けに「ツーリストシップって何？5分で学ぶサステナブルツーリズムクイズ」を実施しました。
ツーリストシップとは、「旅先に配慮し、貢献しながら、交流を楽しむ姿勢やその行動」を指す言葉です。旅行中のちょっとした行動が、地域に大きなインパクトを与えることを、来場者の皆さんに楽しく学んでいただきました。ツーリストシップ精神の下、旅行者、観光事業者、地域、三位一体となって取り組む事が、持続可能な観光を日本で実現するために欠かせません。

8月に一般社団法人ツーリストシップは世界初となる「行動集」を発表しました 無料でダウンロードができます。
自分の旅が地域経済や地域社会にどのようなインパクトがあるのか、クイズを通じて考えるきっかけとなりました。

🌍 World Tourism Day Celebration: Travelife Award Ceremony Hosted by JARTA at Tourism EXPO Japan 2025
September 27 - A Special Stage Event Highlighting Sustainable Tourism
On World Tourism Day, September 27, JARTA hosted the Travelife Award Ceremony on a
special stage at Tourism EXPO Japan 2025, celebrating the efforts of tourism businesses
across Japan committed to sustainability.
The event drew a large audience and was honored by the presence of representatives from
the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA), who shared congratulatory messages.
🏆 Travelife Partner Awardees (We celebrated businesses engaged in the Travelife program through JARTA.)
Three outstanding companies were recognized for achieving Travelife Partner status:
- Chura-boshi Inc. (SATOYAMA EXPERIENCE)
- Kohaku Inc. (IN KANAZAWA HOUSE)
- Canyons Inc. (CANYONS)

“What is Touristship?” - A Fun Quiz to Learn About Sustainable Tourism
From September 25 to 28, JARTA hosted a 5-minute quiz for both tourism professionals and
general visitors to explore the concept of Touristship.
Touristship is the mindset and behavior of local people and visitors in a travel destination, and involves being considerate, making positive contributions, and enjoying meaningful

Even small actions during a trip can make a big difference. Whether it’s one traveler,
a hundred, or a thousand-the impact is significant.
This quiz helped raise awareness in a fun and interactive way.

As tourism continues to grow in influence, it is essential for travelers, communities, and
businesses to work together toward sustainable tourism. Under the philosophy of
Touristship, understanding and acting on the power of tourism is key.
